Chicken Bread

Yep, you read that right! With all the high-protein bread recipes out there, this one takes the…bread! Thanks to Slurp.com for this recipe idea!

Ingredients

  • 150 grams boiled chicken breast, roughly chopped (or you can just be lazy and buy a rotisserie chicken and pull chicken from it.

  • 50 grams grated Parmesan

  • 3 eggs

  • ½ tablespoon olive oil

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 clove garlic (optional)

Method:

  • In a blender add the eggs, salt, oil, chicken pieces and garlic clove, if using. Set the blender to the highest setting and blitz until you have a smooth puree.

  • Add the cheese and baking powder and continue blending until smooth.

  • Preheat an oven to 185 °C and grease a loaf tin with oil or butter.

  • Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes until golden.
